Job Summary:


Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the human resources & development department.  Support agency employees through a variety of tasks related to onboarding, organization, communication.

Schedule and coordinate   interviews for the licensed home care agency, provide support for the   onboarding of personal care aides in accordance with NYSDOH regulations  Track and record medical   onboarding components – PPDs, HEP-B and Flu Shots, etc. according to OPWDD   and DOH regulations  Administer on the job   injuries/worker's comp/osha internal procedures according to regulations  Maintains   department organization by processing mail, maintaining filing systems and   providing general support  Assists with organizing new hire   orientations, preparing agendas and electronic scheduling of trainers and   space.  Accountable for updating the   training calendars  Prepare and modify documents including   correspondence, reports, drafts, letters and emails  Record, compile, transcribe and distribute   minutes of meetings  Utilize excellent time management skills and   the ability to prioritize work and ensure proper focus and progress on tasks   and projects  Utilize Microsoft Office programs to enhance   recordkeeping, reporting, calendar scheduling and information management  Maintain various tracking documents in   support of department processes, following up as necessary with appropriate   stakeholders  Provide support to the development   department as needed  All other duties as assigned.



Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

At least two years of previous experience in an administrative support role

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Human resources and/or Development/Fundraising admin support is a plus

Human services/health care experience is a plus


Reliable means of transportation.

Must have and maintain a valid New York State Drivers' License pre and post hire.

Must successfully pass a criminal background check and child abuse registry check pre and post hire.
